Bio:
Andrew Dure is a photographer based in, born and raised in NYC. It was his father's affinity for taking family photos that sparked his earliest interest in photography. Through travel and every day life, he is inspired by places in and outside of his environment including, but not limited to landscapes, the streets of NYC and abroad, appealing architecture, and the everyday people he encounters.
As another prime mean of inspiration and in honoring his father battling cancer, Andrew found his way into analog photography as a means of sharing a love his father shared with his family through family photos. In doing so, Andrew was once again inspired; utilizing his newfound love for film photography as a means to battle mild depression. For Andrew photography is more than just a passion. it is in all forms of the word; a means of therapy.
